This Privacy Policy explains how EazyBase collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use our platform. By registering or using EazyBase, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

This policy is written in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (חוק הגנת הפרטיות) and its Amendment No. 13, which came into effect on August 14, 2025, enforced by the Privacy Protection Authority (PPA) of Israel.

1. Who We Are

EazyBase is a cloud-based database management platform that allows users to create custom databases, manage records, and search structured information.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

Account data:

• First name and last name
• Email address
• Password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash — we cannot read your password)
• Date and time of account creation

Usage data:

• Databases you create, including their names, fields, and settings
• Records you add to your databases
• Login attempt history (email and timestamp only — for security)

3. Why We Collect This Data

• To provide and operate the EazyBase service
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure
• To protect against brute-force attacks and unauthorized access
• To allow you to store, manage, and search your own records
• To enable database sharing between users you authorize

We do not collect personal data for advertising, marketing, or sale to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Your informed consent, given when you register. Providing your name and email is mandatory to create an account. All other data is entered voluntarily.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

Supabase (supabase.com) — Cloud database infrastructure, located in the EU (Germany). The EU is recognized by Israel as providing adequate data protection.

Netlify (netlify.com) — Web application hosting. Stores application files only, no personal user data.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Account data is retained as long as your account is active
• Deleting your account permanently deletes all your data
• Login attempt logs are automatically deleted after 24 hours

7. How We Protect Your Data

• Passwords stored using cryptographic hashing (SHA-256)
• All data in transit encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
• Data at rest stored with encryption on Supabase servers
• Row Level Security (RLS) — each user accesses only their own data
• Accounts locked after 5 failed login attempts within 30 minutes

8. Your Rights

• Access: Request to view your personal data
• Correction: Request correction via Account Settings or by email
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all data
• Complaint: File a complaint with the PPA at gov.il/he/departments/the_privacy_protection_authority

9. Minors (Under 18)

EazyBase is intended for users aged 18 and over. Under the Legal Capacity and Guardianship Law 5722-1962, processing personal data of minors under 18 requires consent of their legal guardian.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data is stored in the EU (Supabase, Germany). EU member states are recognized by Israel as providing adequate data protection — this transfer is lawful under Israeli law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
